The cemeteries of Allegany County are divided into geographic districts as follows:
Section I
Encompasses the area surrounding both Flintstone and Oldtown, as well as Twiggtown and Little Orleans, and east to the Washington County border. It goes from the Pennsylvania border to the West Virginia border.
Section II
Encompasses the area from just east of Cumberland to Twiggtown, including the Spring Gap area. It goes from the Pennsylvania border to the West Virginia border.
Section III
Includes the area from just east of Cumberland to the top of the ridge of Dan's Mountain. This includes the towns of McCoole, Pinto, Cresaptown, LaVale and Ellerslie, but does NOT include the incorporated city of Cumberland. It goes from the Pennsylvania border to the West Virginia border.
Section IV
Includes the area from the top of the ridge of Dan's Mountain on the east to the Garrett County border on the west, and from the Pennsylvania border on the north to just north of Midland on the south. Included are the towns of Mt. Savage and Frostburg.
Section V
Includes the area from the top of the ridge of Dan's Mountain on the east to the Garrett County border on the west, and from just north of Midland on the north to the West Virginia border on the south. This includes the towns of Midland, Lonaconing, Moscow, Barton and Westernport.
Section VI
Includes the incorporated City of Cumberland
