The Research Library of the Genealogical Society of Allegany County, Maryland, is located in the Appalachian Collection of the Library at Allegany College of Maryland, 12401 Willowbrook Road, Cumberland, MD. Click here for directions.
Hours are: Monday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, Noon-4 p.m., and the 2nd & 4th Wednesday, 2 - 5 p.m.
The library is open year around but is closed on legal holidays and in inclement weather (winter), and when ACM is closed for various college breaks. If traveling a distance, it is wise to call ahead.
